I have been playing Imperial Guard lately and it has been fun, mostly smaller games 1000-1500. I really need another Chimera for my Command Squad, so that is on my list.

I have also been painting some new Warmachine guys. They have a new faction (Retribution) that I am interested in playing so the painting has started. I have not played Warmachine in a long time so I broke out my Khador the other day and had a demo game under the new MKII rules.

I am heading out to Templecon in Rhode Island and can't decide if I want to play in a Warmachine Tourney or a Warhammer Tourney. I can always do the Warhammer tourney then just get in games of Warmachine on the side.

On the painting for the week I finished my Scout Sentinal

and my Warmachine Adeptis Rahn warcaster.

My local game shop is having a Zombie hunt in December so we have to make a model that represents ourselves to battle the Zombie's so I also did that.

I am very excited about these objective markers because I feel that they represent a growth within the hobby. Typically when playing we just grab dice, or really anything to represent objectives. Designing them to fit my army will make my games that much cooler! It is also very "hobbist" as I just took my bitz box and went to town, I am proud of the results. Next step painting them.

1st Post

I am diving in head first to the blogging. I have been inspired by Dave Taylors blog, http://davetaylorminiatures.blogspot.com/ and will use my blog to record my journey through the hobby of Warhammer.

I started playing warhammer 40K in 4th edition around 2005. I went to a local shop to play Mech Warrior and was draw into the hobby and creative sides of Warhammer. This is now years later and with increased hobby skills I will chronology my adventures.

One month ago my work in progress was TAU which is going to by my "best painted" army as I love the look of those little aliens. My moods change like the weather so now I have picked up my Imperial Guard again and this is what I am playing now, at least this week.

I started IG when the new codex dropped and had fun playing them. I stopped rather quickly as there was a lot of people playing guard at my local shop. It has since died down and I have picked them up again.
